Lisbon's Yellow Line — Highlights by Metro
The Linha Amarela runs from Rato, on the edge of the old town, out to Odivelas in the northern suburbs. Pick a station to see which sights are within walking distance.
The Yellow Line's first two stops, Rato and Marquês de Pombal, sit right on the edge of the historic center, so several sights here (the Botanical Garden, Príncipe Real, Parque Eduardo VII, Avenida da Liberdade) are the same ones reachable from the Blue Line a few streets over — this is simply another way in from the north side. From Picoas through Entre Campos and Cidade Universitária, the line runs through office and university districts with nothing documented worth a special walk. Campo Grande, Quinta das Conchas, Lumiar, Ameixoeira, Senhor Roubado, and Odivelas are residential suburbs; nothing beyond Campo Grande's own sights (shared with the Green Line, which also stops there) is documented for this stretch.
Stations: Rato, Marquês de Pombal, Picoas, Saldanha, Campo Pequeno, Entre Campos, Cidade Universitária, Campo Grande, Quinta das Conchas, Lumiar, Ameixoeira, Senhor Roubado, Odivelas.
