EVA - The main bus company in the Algarve
The long-distance buses are useful for reaching places that are not along the train lines. There are bus routes in Portugal that cover the entire country. The main bus companies in Portugal are: Rede Expressos and Eva (mainly in the Algarve) . The Portuguese bus market has only been partially liberalized and the licenses and concessions for bus companies are usually long-term. This is to ensure that even remote parts of the country are served. Eva primarily serves the Algarve region.

Eva Algarve Tourist Pass
Travel the whole Algarve, discover and enjoy the different places. With just one card you can travel across the region on the EVA Intercity transport network, either with EVA Transportes or Frota Azul Algarve. The Tourist Pass is available for 3 or 7 days , WITH NO limit on the number of trips. Go to one of the EVA Transportes ticket offices (see below) or Frota Azul Algarve to purchase this ticket.
