Lisbon Visitor Briefing

Kalorama's Last Night

Today at a Glance

IPMA has no meteorological warning for Lisbon today — a green, ordinary late-summer Sunday with temperatures around 22–28°C. But the city's transit picture is anything but ordinary: the four historic lifts remain out of service, tram 28E splits onto a diversion from Monday, and the Metro is staying open until 03:00 for MEO Kalorama's closing night in Parque da Bela Vista.

Elsewhere, the Feira da Luz keeps running nightly in Carnide, closing-day festivities wrap up in Cascais and at Trafaria na Brasa, and a clutch of free museum mornings and last-chance exhibitions round out the day before Monday brings a tram diversion and a CP train-bar strike.

Destaques

  • Glória, Bica, Lavra and Santa Justa lifts still out of service — use the Carris bus replacements.
  • MEO Kalorama's last night: Metro runs late (until 03:00) on selected Red and Green stations.
  • From Monday 08:00: tram 28E splits at Rua do Forno do Tijolo for three weeks.

Weather

Green day, no warnings, fine for viewpoints and boats

IPMA has no meteorological warning for Lisbon (green; last update Saturday 29 Aug, 17:34 UTC). Forecasts for Sunday put Lisbon around 22–28°C, with more sun later in the day. Monday looks similar, with a slight dip on the coast. Fine for viewpoints and boats — not a heat-warning or storm day.
